How to Make Money on the Internnet: 10 Starting Points

Here is the continuation of "How to Make Money on the Internet and 10 Starting Points". We have already discussed Surveys, Freebies, Telecommuting, Writing articles and Adsense. We will now go over getting paid to Blog, affiliate Marketing, ChaCha or KGB, Data Entry and Freelancing. Here Goes:

6)Now if you already have a blog and you get a decent amount of traffic, there are companies that will pay you to write blog posts about a particular topic. Usually, promoting a product that they are marketing. Payperpost, ReviewMe, and Bloggerwave are some good examples, but there are many more. You can honestly make some good money doing this, anywhere from $5.00 - $200.00 a post. The only trick here is that you need a blog that has a lot of readers and gets a lot of traffic, which of course, takes time to build. And once you have built that Super Blog, you don't want to totally sell out on your readers and only blog about things you are getting paid to promote. Vicious cycle, right?

7) Affiliate Marketing. Geeze Louise. You know how I said that you were going to need a lot of free time and some major studying skills to make money with Adsense? Well, such is the case with affiliate marketing as well. This is a craft, almost a freaking art. Okay, that's dramatic, but you get the picture. But don't let that discourage you, because there is limitless money to be made. In a nut shell, affiliate marketing is getting paid a commission by a company like ClickBank to sell products. You can sell these products on your blog, your squidoo, your website, or you can just post your affiliate links on forums if you'd like. If you would like to learn more, Google affiliate marketing and educate yourself with all of the information you can find. Read, read, read. If you are good at teaching yourself things, then you can learn how to do this for free. If you are better learning from a guide- there are about 245,305,230 you can find online. If you find one you like, then search for customer reviews on it, to check if it is legit before buying it.. because while there are some terrific guides- there are some plain crappy ones too.

****Just a helpful hint for buying ANYTHING online: I never, ever, ever purchase anything online without searching for customer reviews. I don't care how awesome the sales pitch is- its a sales pitch- great marketing does not equal a great product. You will be so much happier if you just go ahead and type "Product I want to buy REVIEW" into Google and see what others have to say. Hopefully this goes without say, but replace 'Product I want to buy' with the name of the product you are interested in. Seriously, I can not tell you how much money and heartache this has saved me.*****

8) ChaCha or KGB. These companies are pretty cool. These are the guys that you can text random questions to and they will text you back the right answer. Bet ya never thought that it was an actual person texting you back, did ya? Well it is. And you can apply to be one of those people. You do have to pass a pretty tricky test, but they give you enough study materials that you should be able to do alright. From what I have heard, ChaCha is now paying next to nothing, so you may want to try KGB if they are hiring (which is pretty sporadically). The test at KGB is harder and they actually schedule shifts for you to work, but still and all- that is a pretty cool job. Think about how awesome you would be at trivia!

9) Data Entry. First, let me warn you that no legitimate data entry job is going to make to pay a single cent to work for them. And these jobs are hard to come by. A good example of a data entry company you can work for online is KeyforCash. You do have to pass a test, and there is a waiting list for employment. Though, I have heard of people getting hired almost immediately when they scored really well. And you can take the test once a day, so it is worth a try.

10) Freelancing. You can actually sell your talents to the highest bidder on websites like Ifreelance and odesk. You get hired through a bidding system, so usually the people will to work for the least amount of money will get the job. Unfortunately, people are willing to work for as little as like $2 an hour. But again, if you really need the money- don't write off that option.

Ok, well if you didn't know how to make money on the internet, not you sure do! Hopefully this gave you some ideas, so you can figure out a good starting point for you. Good luck!

How to Make Money on the Internet: 10 Starting Points

So you want to know how to make money on the internet. It's a big, confusing world right behind your computer screen. So if you have decided to make money online, you are probably confused on where to start. First lets outline 10 different ways to make money online. You can take surveys, take advantage of freebies, telecommute, write articles, use Adsense, get paid to Blog, become an affiliate marketer for companies like ClickBank, work for ChaCha or KGB, do data entry, or sell your talents freelance style. Whew! I'm sure there are many more ways, but if so- I haven't discovered them yet. And believe me, I've looked.

1) Take Surveys. There are many, many websites offering to pay you to take surveys. which is good, becasue if you plan to make any money doing so, you had better sign up for a bunch of them. Surveys don't pay well and they are probably not what you want to be doing all day, but if you are really hard up for cash and just need a place to start- then go for it! Some good sites are: mysurvey, inboxdollars, fushioncash, surveyspot, toluna, cashbackresearch, and surveysavvy.

2)Take advantage of freebies. Head on over to Project Payday and learn what I am taking about. There are people that will pay you cold hard cash to try out free offers. Some people even make a full-time income from this. But don't be fooled- it requires quite a bit of time and effort. And supreme organization skills, so if you are scatter brained or have never heard of a planner- they you should probably pass this up.

3) Telecommute. There are a lot of companies that hire customer service representatives, sales men, telemarketers, and transcriptionsts to work from home. But listen up folks, these are REAL jobs. They are just like any other office job- except that you can work in your PJs from your couch. Which is pretty sweet. Beware of any company that requires you to pay an upfront fee. No legitimate company will EVER make you pay to work for them. That's absurd. And unfortunately, most of these jobs are pretty hard to come by because everyone and their mom wants them. But it never hurts to get your resume in, now does it?

4) Write Articles. Companies like Textbroker and Demand Studios will pay you to write articles. So if you are a good writer, then give it a shot. You actually have to apply and be accepted by Demand Studios- but they do pay pretty well for high quality articles.

5) Adsense. What do you think these ads are on the right hand side of this text? Google ads! Every time somebody clicks one, I get anywhere from $0.20- $1.50. Okay, I've never gotten $1.50, but I heard they can pay the much. And whats even cooler, is that the person doesn't actually have to buy anything- they pay per click- so every time someone just click on it, I earn money. So if you are going to go this route you are going to need websites, blogs, and any internet space you can get your hands on. And you are going to need to study up and clear your schedule- because there is a LOT to learn if you want to make money with Adsense.

To be continued... I didn't realize just how much I had to say about how to make money on the internet...

Can I Make Extra Money Online with ClickBank

If you have heard of Affiliate marketing, you are probably familiar with ClickBank. And you are probably wondering to yourself, "Can I make extra money online with ClickBank"?

Well, like most things- there are both upsides and downsides of ClickBank. First, lets talk about the positives:

1) ClickBank offers an incredible amount of products. You are sure to find something that you are interested in marketing through ClickBank. If you are hard up for ideas, just browse the site and odds are, you will walk away with a few.

2) ClickBank offers a lot of quality products. Not only are a lot of the products actually pretty cool, they usually have a lot of material for affiliate marketers to work with. Most of the products offer pre-written articles, banners, etc. to help you market the product. If you have looked into affiliate marketing, one of the first things you have probably noticed is that a lot of products suck. How are you supposed to market something that you would never buy yourself? If you use ClickBank, you generally will not have that problem.

3) Awesome commissions. Really, awesome commissions. Most of the companies are willing to pay you a pretty penny to sell their products. Win, win- for everyone.

But, of course, there are negative:

1) It takes forever and a day to get paid. Before ClickBank will agree to pay you, you must sell 5 products and I believe, one transaction must have been made with a MasterCard. Why, you may ask? Most likely because a lot of people will give up before they ever reach those terms and ClickBank won't ever have to pay them. Because of this, I absolutely do not recommend that you start out affiliate marketing with products from ClickBank. They are just not beginner-friendly.

2) Most of the products available for marketing are expensive. Some are just outrageously priced. They have e-books about candle making for like 40 bucks. Who in their right mind would buy that? Seriously, if I ever found out that someone I knew bought an e-book-not even a real, freaking book- about candle making for $40.00, I would slap them. No doubt about it. And unfortunately, those kind of stupid prices are the norm for the products on that site. Of course, you can find fairly priced-products, too. Or if you are just an incredible salesman, you won't have to really worry about the prices.

So, yes. In all probability, you can make some extra money online with Clickbank. But make sure to really check out the products that you are hawking, and if you are a beginning- you may want to explore other options entirely.
